12 Sales theories, I worked within the last 30 years. And how you may benefit from it (for free).

In my first 30 years of sales, I learned more than a dozen different sales theories and worked with most of them successfully in different markets, starting from deal sizes of a few hundred up to 7-digit $ projects.

  1. Spin Selling
  2. Consultative Selling
  3. Straight Line Selling
  4. Empathic Selling
  5. Moderation Selling
  6. Real Estate Selling (Tom Hopkins)
  7. Car Selling
  8. FMCG Sales
  9. Insurance and Direct Sales
  10. Enthusiastic Selling (80`s and 90s)
  11. Social Media and Online Sales
  12. Coop and Channel-Sales

I used them from direct selling door-to-door, in SMBs up to a staff of 10, walking with my sample bag from company to company in industrial zones, as a Sales Manager and team lead to midsized companies in nearly all B2B markets (instead of pharma and loan) and up to blue chips like Novartis, Mitsubishi Papers, Deutsche Bank, Kaufland, Porsche, Hugo Boss, Jack Wolfskin and more.

I learned from hundreds of books, newsletters, podcasts, Youtube Clips, and articles from sales authors like Zig Ziglar, Chet Holmes, Tom Hopkins, Jordan Belfort, Martin Limbeck, Alan Weiss, Jocko Willink, Orson Scott Gard, Simon Sinek, Grant Cardone, Jeffrey Gitomer and Og Mandino, just to name a few.

Also, since my 20`s, I read and re-read strategic and rhetoric books authors like SunZu, von Clausewitz, Dale Carnegy, Tim Ferris, Arthur Schopenhauer, Harro von Senger, Macciavelli and Gracian.

Of course, I am still learning how to sell better. Knowing that I would never be a perfect but a better salesman. And have fun with it.

Here is my offer: If you generally want to talk about sales and exchange some ideas, book my free 1:1 „Tea and coffee chat“ for 15min. If you have a specific topic or challenge in sales projects or want to speed up your sales pipeline, you may book one of my free 30min „Sales Anamnesis Meetings. “
